We have got back into practice the last two weeks and it’s been pretty productive. We have a gig this Saturday at The Uxbridge in Hednesford and I’d be lying if I said i wasn’t itching to get at it. I keep getting messages in my facebook inbox about another band playing this weekend, Latina Heat.

Don’t really know what to expect from 2010 to be honest, but 2009 was pretty shit so it must be an improvement. Reflecting back on last year in some ways we moved forward alot, but we are still in Cannock so we haven’t come far enough! We have played live on Radio 2 twice, had our songs played on there BBC WM, Beacon, Kerrang and many internet stations too.

Proper wanna sort some kind of holiday out soon was thinking Ibiza to go and proper have it in the summer. If any one knows of someway the band could get out there to play then let us know.

I wonder what the fuck is gonna happen this year, new years eve was mad and I’ve been ill since, so my 2010 starts now.

Ironically we ended up doing the full monty in Sheffield, where the film is actually set. None of this was planned, it just happened and none of us recall any of it!

We haven’t done anything over Christmas and new year to do with the band. This week we are getting back into practice and meeting some management company or something, so we will see what that brings.

In other news my car door froze shut this morning and i had to scrape my car off with an Ocean Colour Scene Cd. It was either that Be Here now by Oasis, Rubber Soul by The Beatles or Is This It by The Strokes, so i think it was a pretty good choice wouldn’t you agree?

We went on, did our thing and i don’t really know what else to say. These fools were singing in American accents, wearing make up and in my opinion trashing everything an English band should stand for! Time wasters stop painting your fucking jeans on, stop painting your nails black, have a wash and drop some fucking pills or something…. it might make you smile!!!!!

Been listening to some good old rock and roll today to get my head straight after all that shit! I really am ashamed to say it but i forgot how good Oasis really were…. well…. are! It used to really wind me up when people would compare us to Oasis or say i was trying to be Liam Gallagher, I mean we have come a bit of a way since then but I’m proud to say they are one of my biggest influences. I remember watching them for the first time and thinking i wanna be in a fucking band! I wanna be on that stage hearing people sing the songs back to me!

Say whatever you want about em they are a great band! FACT!

So we now have plenty of time to work on the new track and things look settled in the camp for the first time in…….. well the first time ever. We are playing a record label showcase tonight at Loose Lucys in Wolverhampton, no idea what to expect so i don’t really have anything to say about it. The sound has always been good anytime we have played there but with no sound check we will have to see.

Got another gig at the Hangup in Walsall on Friday which should be good, we are playing with Nations Waiting again. I’m off to fucking Wales on Wednesday for 3 days with work so the gig on Friday will hopefully go someway to restoring some sanity??? Or maybe not .

These are are last few gigs before Christmas, so if you can’t make it down have a good Christmas and all that. On a lighter note my love hate relationship with music is now leaning much more towards love . This wasn’t helped at all by the X Factor finalists joining Paul McCartney on stage wtf!

Ok so in your opinion is Paul McCartney cool?
