Oakseys Birthday Festivities Where Last Night & So Was Practice – 11th December

Well I am fucking shattered! Practiced last night till 11 and then me, Davo and Douggie hit the bright lights of Cannock to celebrate the 22nd birthday of Rich “Oaksey” Oades of the Hold Up. My head didn’t touch the pillow till half 3 and I was at work for 9 this morning. Anyway belly aching over!

We have decided what song we are gonna record tomorrow. After much deliberation we have decided to record ‘Ain’t Nobody Like Me’ which I am more than happy with, I’m looking forward to seeing what Gavin Monaghan can do with it. It will be available to download pretty soon.

I’m really bolloxed and can’t think of anything remotely interesting to say, other than the fact I can’t stop listening to Bon Iver’s album For Emma, Forever Ago. Try it you might like it.I’m trying to blast some cheer into my ear by listening to some soul music, you can’t beat it.

We recorded the Chouv session and will be posting the video for your amusement very soon. Anyway i’m gonna go and try and get through the day, i drank a can of Relentless and it made my piss fluorescent yellow .
